Two pictures to show how to get the plastic fasteners released without losing the middle part!

Use the screwdriver in the tool-kit in the boot!

That's amazing! I make do with the edge of my thumbnail!

You'd get my vote for "Post of the Month" as well!

What if you do have a tool-kit in the boot but the screwdriver doesn't have that bit on the handle? What car comes with that screwdriver?

Don't thank me, I picked it up somewhere else browsing around recently. Then I forgot about it until this evening and took my own photos! :) Thought it was worth a headline topic of its own.

Screwdriver is he one in my 2006 9-5. I'm sure the 2002 car had this as well but I didn't realise what it was for. Probably in the 9-3 too.

I see. It's not in the 9000, at least up to 1996. Pity - would be useful.

It might work on the 9-5, but most of the time on the 9000 even when you push the pin right through, the fasteners still won't come out

I use a carpet tack remover to lift them...

Push them in about 3 or 4mm, then jiggle the flange. They will come out! Unless it is a cold day! Then the flange thingy has a tendency to shatter! I did all the ones on the red 9-5 boot today....Then I put three into the radiator grille on the Aero!

Hi
New here and I don't how to start a new thread?? I have just got hold of a nice 9-3 convertible (yr 2000 2.o hot auto) and I have a question about my front bumper. Am I missing a panel or some edge trim for the top of the bumper to finish off the area just in front of the head lights?

Perhaps someone could look at my pic's and tell me what I am missing if anything. Thanks...

Ok I can't this will only allow 1mb pic's (jesus christ)....so can anyone post a pic of what a front bumper on a 2000 9-3 should look like so I can see what might be missing?

If you put the photo onto photobucket or flickr or somewhere else on the web, you can post a link to any size of photo.
