1999 9-3 Viggen Vert in black.

I went to see this car today as a favour for my brother in law, the recently deceased owner was a longstanding customer. His widow has no idea on values and does not drive, so I said I would take a look.
This was a summer use only car covering less than 1K miles per year during his 12 plus years ownership.

Previously always garaged, but for the past year it has been outside covered with a decent car cover.
The lady seems to recall her husband saying it was a SAAB display/press car at launch.
Plate is S900***

Very good black paintwork/bodywork, hood in good/clean condition. Sat on the original alloys.
Black leather interior.
Just over 118k on the clock
Current MOT and its is believed there is history.

I noted the following, drivers seat has damage (rip) in the middle of the seat, nearside foglamp lens is broken.

It started hissing down before I could take any photo's and the lady was insistent it was covered ASAP.
I'm not too hot on the value of these cars as I have not seen any advertised recently. But my rough estimate was that it was worth about £8k.
Can anyone who knows these cars better confirm if that figure is way off the mark or about right.

Please note this is not a sales ad, I will not reveal where the car is or any contact details for the seller.

Thanks I have seen that one and that was a basis for my estimate on this one.

Just looking for a second opinion.

I've had a couple of responses from elsewhere and they have said I'm not too far off the mark.
Therefore I'm locking this thread.
