The same car was sold by a private seller on eBay last month for £1910.

Hopefully all the faults mentioned by the private seller have been rectified within that mark up.

Curious as to what happened at end of the previous auction. The seller appeared to re-list immediately, with that ending after a few minutes and no bids. Their buy-it-now price was £2500.

As for the current listing by a dealer, their advert merely repeats all the 'recent' expenditure that previous owner listed, with no indication of any new work? I specifically see they make no mention of issues that previous owner did point out, including air con being u/s and the rust on A pillars. In fact, while previous owner made a point of showing the rust in photos, current listing does not and though I'm sure the rust is still there, the current photos would not help anyone to know about this. Of course, we can be sure that if anyone was sufficiently interested to contact the seller and specifically ask whether there was any corrosion or other issues, the seller would be 100% honest and transparent...

Originally listed in January it finished at £2460 on 21 Jan.
It was relisted a couple of weeks later with a ''buyer no show'' stated in the listing. That's when it was bid to £1910.
It was then relisted with a buy it now of £2500 for about 10 minutes.

Either some shill bidding on the second auction and he received a swift offer once listed or finger error in relisting at auction end.

My favourite 9000 spec and interior :envy: . However could be an expensive car to get to A1 condition.

Something was ticking in my mind but wasn't sure until I see this!!

Not my favourite colour/interior but looks good in the pics but as all has been said there are other things lurking.... I would hope that at that mark up much work has been done but did note the "in good condition given its age and mileage" excerpt lets them out of a sticky situation? For around 250,000 miles it is in half decent condition?
To be honest as it's around 50 miles away from me I was thinking on it but now not so sure, wish I'd bid on it 1st time around lol... Had been off the road for 5 years too
Values seem to be all over at the minute, some for around a grand, some for nearly 7k (lovely willow green 2.3 Auto with sand interior - my favourite and the spec almost identical to a 9000 I had) and many in-between, there are some real minters out there, also some real dogs too
