I'm selling my private Saab plate, which currently resides on my 9-5 Aero. I've tested on various plate sites and got an idea about how much I can be ripped off by from a broker. Any ideas what it might be worth to a Saab owner?

Without knowing the plate then probably no.

My gut reaction, based on what I would be prepared to pay if this sort of thing was important to me, would be maybe £500, perhaps twice that if it also happened to incorporate my initials.

But to do that, it would also need to be miss-spaced, which may attract unwanted attention from the police and necessitate a second set of correctly spaced plates for MOT purposes. Personally, I don't think it's worth the trouble, but each to their own.

Probably £250 - £400 if anyone is actually interested.

Whatever the buying sites have offered you, stick it up for a little more.

Put spaces in and won't come up on search engine

I hate incorrectly spaced plates, see them all the time.

S44 BER would be a good one.

Wow, some wildly fluctuating prices on that site. I might just leave it on the car to add value to that when I sell it. Personally, I thought the plate would go for well over a grand, especially now with seeing the ones on that link. I've been offered 990 by a broker, which I turned down.
