Has anybody else seen this?

The auction finished earlier this evening.

A 1975 99L 4dr in orange with no MOT and in need of some welding.

It made £3300 !!!

Yes, it was originally advertised elsewhere for a lot less (sub £2k IIRC) but the seller did not have any takers.

Even with the £600 fee that C&C charges for its auctions the car has achieved more than he was originally asking.

Rare colour for surviving 99's and a tidy interior has probably helped.

I hope the first thing the new owner does is bin those awful wheel trims....

Not to my taste either, but someone loves them if they are willing to pay over £100 a set.
