Hi all

I'm interested in a Saab 99 2 door as I like the shape. It would be a daily and something to tweak and improve over time - I'm not necessarily bothered by originality.

What would I be looking to pay for one of these? Perhaps a late model GL or similar?

Assume bodywork and underneath is good (as this will be harder for me to fix) and everything else in reasonable running condition with MOT and average/standard interior.

As always its dependant on condition which of course reflects on the price you'll pay.

Unroadworthy projects can be picked up for £400 - £1k.

Leggy but roadworthy cars, with MOT in fairly reasonable condition but requiring cosmetics your looking at £1k - £2k.

Average to good £2k - £4k.

Very good to excellent between £4k & £6k.

For the very best with lower miles £7k - £8k.
