I had registered for a previous auction, therefore could see the reserve had not been met.
I am fully registered and have bid on other cars but yes, I believe that is correct.

Very surprised, when I guessed 10k at the absaloute top I didn't think an auction would reach that. The whole thing is suspicious. I am glad at least to be correct on the low reserve, I don't think 10k for a car that's usually half the price is a low reserve.

On the other hand other 9ks selling high will make ours look very reasonable when we come to sell them!

It was not a low reserve, it was just the sellers ploy to get people bidding.

I do not think it’s a £10k car, I do not think the bidding that took place can be relied upon to give an idea of value either.

Agree it doesn't reflect the true value, but it might influence other purchasers who aren't clued up.

It also encourages those with poor examples to ask silly prices.

If he's got the money and time to wait until he finds a buyer at the price he wants then fair enough.

But he may be waiting some time...

He already has had it up for sale for a while

But as has already been said, he can ask what he wants as its his to sell.

It does not mean he will get what he is asking though.

I don't know what he's smoking trying to sell that for £11.5k... during a cost of living crisis, too. Some of you may remember the red CS Carlsson I had up for sale recently. I couldn't even get £5k. It went for very cheap indeed.

Now £10K

Seller claims a further reduction has been made due to family medical issues...Whilst I would like to think any seller wouldn't lie about such things I wouldn't put it past him.
