I have one, facelifted dash. Just under 119,000 miles. New tyres about 500 miles ago. Everything works and in very nice condition, MOT until August. I tried selling it on Autotrader; one response, is it still for sale? Answer, "yes", no response since.

We don't drive it anymore. Should I just break it for the parts ?

I drove it last night to clear light surface rust from the discs, still a lovely car to drive; I am saddened to sell it, but the 2016 Volvo V60 Polestar is nicer, as you'd expect !

If you have already tried to sell on auto trader you have obviously already put a value on it.
I'd suggest it was too high an asking price hence this might be the reason why you did not get any interest.

Try asking for less.

Lots of them up for sale at the moment from which to gauge asking prices.

Check the likes of eBay completed listings for actual selling prices.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. The price I put on it was I think a couple of hundred too high: £2,150 ( pressure from my wife!); Even so, the lack of response offering 50% less was surprising ! Financially, we don't need to sell it. SORN now. It has to go, I can't justify the monthly road tax to use it when it's hardly ever used. I'll stick it on Ebay with a reserve of £1,500 and expect the usual idiots, maybe a real bidder!

It can stay for sale for the next 10 years on one of our drives as far as I am concerned, causing no obstruction!
