OG 9-3 TiD 2.2 OBD code reader / iPhone app - success

In case anyone is wondering what cheap OBD reader will work with a 1998-2002 9-3 diesel, I recently got one of these for £10:

...then spent an age trying to find an iPhone app that would talk to it, before finding EOBD-Facile which has a profile specifically for the OG9-3s. The free app will read ECU codes, but a one-off £18 upgrade is needed to clear them.
The advanced functionality the app offers for other vehicles doesn't work, but I'm very happy as it does the job I wanted at a good price.
