Having received some unwelcome news regarding the state of my present vehicle, I am now looking for a replacement car. Ideally a late-model pre-Dame, manual, Aero estate. Would consider other 2.3L models - the more fully-loaded, the better. Ideally with Black/Dark Grey interior rather than cream or beige, although for the right car I could swap the interior over.

I've got various parts I can swap from my current vehicle, so not too bothered about the state of the interior, exhaust or suspension. What's more important is the amount of rust (or lack of it) Southern half of England/Wales preferably, but could travel for the right vehicle.

Would you consider a saloon with mods? I have a 2002 petrol 2.3T that's been Noobtuned to Stage 4 (295 BHP).

It needs some stuff done to it that I don't have the time or money to do. There's a knocking and a squeaking from the offside front wheel that is suspension related, I had the drop link replaced but it's still there, suspect bush/shock. Its MOT and service are due this month, and there's a dent in the boot from a reversing bin lorry that could probably be popped out. Otherwise, it runs perfectly fine.

Yes, saw that. Bit too much of a punt for me, I'm afraid. Looking for something with no (or at least minor, known) faults.
