Yeah I agree the prices seem a bit unpredictable at the moment and as you say the amount paid is most likely a bit different. I do think lockdown has an impact as well, I think some people are keen for a project to tinker on to keep themselves sane but sorted cars seem slightly less desirable, presumably because there is less prospect of using them for shows and days out etc.

I can never understand how some when selling a car do not make an effort to present it at its best.

At least remove the rubbish and give it a hoover out :wall:

Especially with the dried on bogey on the speedo dial...

Looks like a mish mash of Turbo Edition/Anniversary/Aero spec.

Definitely a lot more effort will pay dividends. It looks like a car that has done 185k, mine was tidier at 98k in 2017.

Hmmm and a 200PS 2.3t Aero...??

Very optimistic pricing considering the condition.

It does still have some MOT with some advisories.

Monitor and repair if necessary (advisories):
all 4 tyres perished
all 4 brake discs showing surface corrosion
Exhaust has a minor leak of exhaust gases (6.1.2 (a))
exhaust systerm very rusted
Nearside Front Play in steering rack inner joint(s) ()
Offside Front Service brake binding but not excessively (1.2.1 (f))

Deposit received apparently, that sold pretty quick all things considered. They do look good in white mind.

It looked more like Hammerite than Cirrus White judging by the photos.

MOT history on that one looks interesting! Failed in Oct 2020 with excessive corrosion, passed a month later with an advisory note that the tester couldn’t check anything because it was covered in hard under seal!

Yes noticed that when I looked a while ago, ad states extensive welding so could be the reason why or not :?:

99GL 2dr, silver.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Saab-99/2746 ... SwWDBgMkiN

This one is a relist, it was last listed a year or s ago.

The seller has been trying to sell this one for sometime.

Previously listed for a lot less than the current asking price, obviously the seller has noted the increase in values so has listed for more.
Maybe if they listed in cars for sale rather than the parts section they might get a sale.

I can't see it :? it's not where I was expecting it then, I thought I saw the exhaust manifold going out directly to the exhaust. Long time since I had a 900 Turbo though ....

Edit : yeah I got it now, the exhaust manifold points the way ....
