Hello all!

I made a new video, and this time I show how to enable OpenSID in a T7 Saab. This works with all 9-5 MY98-09 as well as all 9-3 with T7.

MY02-05 has a design fault that allows the blinkers/turn signals to come loose from the car and smash up the front end paintwork. Saab issued a service bulletin for this, but many cars are driving around without this necessary modification. I made a video showing how to prevent your blinkers to mess up your car :)

This is how to replace the ECU/ECM in a Saab 9-5. Perfect if you got a new ECU from a tuner and want to install it.

Note: These instructions to not apply to the Saab 9-3.

For UK viewers who have not done it before, the ECU is on the passenger side.

I did not need deep sockets etc, just used the 1/4" drive set. getting the trim back onto the scree at the corner was the biggest pain but that may be because I had the windscreen replaced by Autoglass (a couple of times) a few months ago.
