I've seen several threads over time on the subject of new fuel tank straps for c900. Just a heads up to say I've found out via EuroSaabPartsDirect that new pattern copies are available from Malbrad.

I've just bought a pair - £68 inc delivery. Seem very well made with powder coat finish. You do need to transfer the plastic sleeves from your old straps though. Hope that's useful info.

Also bought a set of the Malbrad remanufactured tank straps. An hour's work with the grinder to, ahem, remove the remnants of the old ones, clean up all the little rust spots underneath and fit the new ones. Be aware that these only fit the late MY89 to MY93 cars, not the earlier ones.
