I wanted some pop rivet washers (to go with my remaining 996 c/sunk pop rivets ) and got them from these guys

They also sell:

Ball joint boots

Trim pins etc

I'll bundle this off to the knowledge base in a while...

No connection with the company other than I used them for the washers and they turned up when they said they would,

Those trim pins work well, but they are sherman tank to get out.

Now that is a very useful link. Best part is that the quantities/prices are sensible for enthusiasts.

Having a senior moment :bag: means I cannot recall the company that used to come to the dealership once a week - they had a van stuffed full of useful things like this but even then, the gear was not cheap. I can see those swivel pin (ball joint) boots being especially useful to members (listed in the new lines for 2012) who should note that these rubber boots are part of the test (UKS members will know that...).

In your dreams :D
there must be a 1000th of a millimeter between it not being pushed down enough and going down so far you hear it fall and land in the non accesable panel gap :wall:
Even using the saab screwdriver that comes with the spare wheel kit and has a "pip" on the top to apparently push the middle of the bigger clips down just enough is touch and go.
