Silver? Seems to be the colour of most 9-5's including mine.
High tax car with one months 'good' MOT left. Not sure what is good about it, failed the last one with most of the rear lights not working, something it is difficult not to notice in a Saab as the SID keeps telling you.

Maybe, I was going by the DVLA details which may be generalised, or maybe the photo conditions make it look greenish. It does look silver on my screen though.

My dream combo on a 9000 - Le Mans Blue and Sand seats.

This is (I am pretty sure) the same one that was for sale a few weeks back for £1500, so quite a mark up, especially considering it needs 2 new front wings and (in the original ad at least) the back ones will need attention too.

Still like it though....

I contacted him earlier actually. Waiting for a call back.
I work quite close to where this is located, so want to go and see it. Agree with the price, way to high for its condition.

Funny, hes now dropped it even more today. Now under 2k.
Still too much. Needs 4 new arches. The engine bay looks like its not been touched in a very long time. Every pipe will need replacing and they crumble just by touching them. And the interior is SOOO dirty. The seats would take a lot of work to clean them to a respectable level.

NG 9-5's seem to be popping up more frequently of late for less than £4k.

if we stop buying them they will be 500 quid soon

its only us mugs paying the price that makes the price we have to pay

like car auctions use our stupidity and greed against us

how much would cars drop in price if we stopped buying them tomorrow in say a year

The diesels represent more than 80% of the NGs sold in the UK and given the high mileage and greater availability not surprisin really. the 2.0T and V6 models seem to be in greater demand; both have ???? in regards to chain stretch which can result in a costly engine rebuild which doesn't seem to impact on prices..the valuation Chris Knott placed on mine at valuation isn't so low given it's a 9 year old car...

...3x more than my DE Aero auto at the same age

I really don’t understand the point you’re making. If there’s no value in an elderly car, why would anyone bother repairing one? Just scrap it when it needs a few hundred pounds spending on it, because it’s worth nothing.

Supply of cheaper cars then dries up.

Have a look at the price of used cars in other countries. They tend to look after their cars more than people do in this country. Cars here are cheap.

This has changed hands a few times now. It went through a BCA auction having been part ex'd at main agent. Then it was RTJ autos (Saab specialist in Stockport). It looked stunning when for sale at RTJ recently, however looking at the pictures on this listing, at least one rear arch and (I think) one of the front wings are showing signs of rust.
Still a lovely looking thing though - but it would need some pretty urgent bodywork in order to make it really exceptional.
