West Dorset - just off the A35 between Dorchester and Bridport - weary/stranded [Saab] travellers welcome but, if it's icy, you may have to spread some grit yourselves in order to get down the hill safely  . The council won't grit it but I/we did persuade them to drop off a few piles of grit by the roadside :). PM me for details if you plan a trip this way.

Happy New Year, btw, to all our members.

If anyone wishes to brave the roads for a venture into Kintyre (oh mist rolling in from......sorry!) specifically the Campbeltown area I can offer tools, some technical knowledge and a small spares stockpile. Also have off road space for working on cars but alas, no garage.

Just pm me if your heading this way.

Virtually no tools or technical knowledge but I roast my own coffee beans and fry (not grill) bacon.
