Roll up, Roll up!
This is the
thirteenth year (where does the time go??) of UKSaabs Fantasy F1, and after me winning the first 5 in a row

Barry72 and I traded the title for the next 3 years. In 2015 a new kid showed themselves as being on the block; with Rocking Vector victorious. In 2016, perpetual bridesmaid RDB finally (with the assistance of his 10 yr old son) finally made it to the top step. 2017 I made it a total of 7 world championships, and I nearly made it 8 last year but for the fantastic and extremely noteworthy efforts of our own big boss man, TFatC- who "did a Leicester" and only went and won it!
So, who will triumph this year? Will Barry register his hat-trick of titles? A fight back from one of the now many previous champs and near-champs? Can Nick defend his title? Only time will tell.
Same principle as Fantasy Football- you pick a team from a limited budget and get points based on the real life performance of your team's components. The value of your team components changes according to their performance. Once you've picked your team it's wait until qualifying for Melbourne March the 16th. Testing starts Feb 18th, so more info will become available, but you can change your team unlimited times before the first blackout so getting a team in early is still worth doing.
Rules are here, scoring is available on a separate tab of the same link. There are some updates for 2019 which has been covered
here.
All you need to do is
Register (unless you've entered in a previous year in which case you can just log in), then pick your team, then join the league.
Please set up your account on PFRL with your UKSaabs username as your username on there, so we all know who is who. Call your team whatever you like.I have set up an Individual Private League and am happy to administer it again (not that there is much administration to be done). The name of the league is UKSaabs and the password to join is, as ever, uksaabsf1.
Good luck people! I will just say, read the rules (as complex as they are on this game), it helps.
Nb. To formalise the arrangement (and to enable users to compete with the best of the rest of the game overall), players are welcome to "race" with whatever license they like (and have)- Amateur (the base level), Pro (which is the same but allows you more transfers, at a cost), or expert (which offers use of ERS but removes some assistances).
