Looking for a value on my Saab 9-5

Hi everyone,

I have a Saab 9-5 2004 which I need to sell. I was made redundant and it's just sitting on the driveway now, so it needs a good home.

I'm not 100% sure what type of Saab it is, it's a 9-5 2004 2.3, but I'm sure about the 'turbo ys3e' bit (from the search on ebay). It's dark grey, the bodywork isn't the best, but the inside, engine and gearbox are all excellent. There is some service history, (which I need to dig out). It's just done 100k.

Where can I find out exactly what model it is? And what might a valuation? I know there's not a lot of info, but I can answer any questions. Thanks.

Firstly this post should not be treated as a sales ad, the OP is looking for an idea on what should be his approximate asking price for advertising in the classifieds or elsewhere.
Any signs of it becoming a medium for the sale of the vehicle will result in the thread being removed.

For the OP the reg number might help in identifying the spec as would an interior photo.

With regards value anything from scrap value to just above a grand.

There is not much difference in prices with regards spec other than for Aero's which usually tend to fetch more than cars of a lower spec that are a similar age/condition.

You will get varying opinions on that though, depending on if a person is looking to buy, break or have one of their own and want to talk up prices.

Look in the UKS classified archives for previously advertised cars and asking prices and or completed eBay sales and current asking prices for similar cars.
