They seem to be often up for around about £20,000, but I’m sure they don’t often sell for that. It has had quite a lot of work, hard to see if it was well done, but assuming it was (which is a big assumption), it seems about right.

A broader point about selling on the collecting cars platform, (which I’ve done twice) if you put in the effort with photos, info and timely and detailed answering of bidders questions (as this seller did), you can reap the benefits: there are quite a lot of bored rich people on there simply looking for their next toy.

However it’s interesting to see what the market want vs what expert say.
I still read everywhere Ruby edition is the only one worthy for collectors in the future.
I also find the Carlsson body kit terrible. Looks like an aftermarket job behind the street .
The aero kit imho a lot more attractive.
I also find the Ruby colour terrible.
Am I missing something here? What is it I do not understand of the 2 special 900?

I agree with you regarding the aero kit, but then I’m biased. I don’t think Ruby prices are anywhere near Carlsson ones: good Ruby’s seem to go for slightly more than good non-vert Aeros, but less often by a fairly big margin than those of a good Carlsson.

I also agree on the Carlsson body kit: I don’t hate it at all, but it’s a bit over kill on such a classic shape.
