I’m looking for a darker dashboard I have the silver one in my car and I think anything darker would look better ideally carbon fibre.

I’ve Google searched and tried ebay, best I can find is a dark walnut which is ok but it’s only the dash not the gear lever part as well. The other option would be vinyl wrap but I think it always looks cheap.

If anyone has anything or knows of anything out there please let me know.

If you want a really dark dash Saab did a Piano Black which is shiny like the black keys on a, well, piano. Then there's a dark walnut, which is in a few of my SE 9-5s, and a light walnut. In the Aero is a aluminium, or similar. It's bog standard plastic in my Basic spec 9-5. I think that's the range from Saab.

One 9-5 had a carbon fibre finish that looked like it was stuck on. It didn't even go to the edges of the dash. Maybe Saab didn't offer that but RMPerformance have one on their website. Not cheap though. I've just checked eBay and seen what I would call piano black described as dark walnut. BUT... The surround to the gear lever is a seperate item and the piano black was like rocking horse droppings to find. Took ages too. Sadly not for sale.

Hirsch do a carbon fibre kit. The RMP site is probably not a bad place to look at pictures of what's available but being French it's mostly for the wrong side of the car.

Not sure but you may have to just trawl ebay till someone is breaking a car with dash and gear surround. Or keep an eye on the likes of Parts For Saabs to see if they get rid of old stock.

The dashboard is just a thin fascia. I would try a cheap plastic one and wrap it. There should be no problem getting the wrap over the edges then.

Or have a word with https://twostroketoturboparts.co.uk They have an online shop, but I've been there and they have a load more stuff in stock then that, as well as a number of cars that they are breaking.
