Flat front grill didnt look too good.

Image2020-08-17_09-46-49

It cleaned up ok not perfect but usable but I have 2 grills coming and some indicators that should be perfect condition.

Exhaust was put on the Carlsson in 2004 thought might be beyond repair but cleaned up ok just need to get the system to fit the 2.3 which has a cat. I have the middle section in stainless but not the downpipe.

Wheel came up nice.

Red car is almost stripped just few small bits then it can go. Its out the way so have more room to work on the gold car.

Garage clean up car washed off.

Image2020-09-06_02-12-18

I used all the leather from the red Carlsson but the rear bases had some rust and the fronts on the gold car had electric so I removed all the leather and changed the bases.
Nightmare of a job.

Did you leave those wheels on the Carlsson when you scrapped it?

Great Project
I have never had a 9000 (only 900s)but often find myself looking to see what flat front 9000 are for sale. The early Carlsson just look so cool.

I want to take the glass out before it goes.

Keep hold of them, you'll be surprised, even shocked at what price they bring.

The directional curlies? Really? I didn't think they held too much value

Before it goes, had you considered keeping the RHD bits (in case you wanted to convert the 'donor' car to RHD in the end).

Just thinking .....
