Looking good, especially the view of the front, the other pictures makes your location look idyllic, not so sure in the middle of January though!!

Great stuff though Angus, still looks as good as when you restored it and at the end of the day it proves you done a great job and what I for one would love to emulate :)

So what are the little jobs and improvements to be over the winter I wonder?
I've just splashed out on and fitted a new battery and starter motor in mine and the slightly laboured cranking is a thing of the past.

My Winter job list is as follows: (Same as you) - Fit a new starter. The old starter is sluggish and beginning to make unpleasant noises. I managed to get a hold of 2 brand new NOS starters a while back, so one will go in this car and the other will go in my Convertible in the future. Next job, fix leak at rear passenger outer taillight as it tends to get beads of water inside. Probably just need the seal adjusting or a touch of sealant applied. Next is to align both doors as both require a bit of a slam to close them properly. It might be as simple as adjusting the striker plate, but I feel both doors would benefit from being raised a couple of mil at the rear ends. Finally I will give the car a good polish and interior clean and hopefully keep it immaculate for next year!

What I have done so far is give the car a full service - oil, oil filter, plugs, dizzy cap and rotor arm. I also injected more hot waxoyl in every accessible cavity from underneath the car and sprayed a good film over other parts of the underside.
