The 99T is currently on SORN and has been for a few months, no point in it being taxed if its not being used.
I was not going to pay for a full months tax for May to attend the last meet in it, especially when I had a perfectly good C900 already taxed and parked in front of the garage the 99T is kept in.

The 99T will be taxed from the start of June, so it will be taken to the 6 June meet.

Well, the car is back on the road. Voltage Regulator, a £12 part, caused the failure to progress last time. Thankfully this unearthed a failed PCV Pipe which was causing an excessive loss of oil, so although pricey for the garage to sort both, better than a seized engine

Forecast for tomorrow is cloudy with rain in the afternoon.

Hopefully like the last meet it will hold off until after the meet.

I agree Dave. Good to see some familiar faces again. Plus, an uneventful return journey for me this time :D

There was some quite heavy showers heading back into Yorkshire, so glad it pretty much kept clear of us again. Well done on the weather chanting again Mal

I was wondering today how many meets I might be able to make this year (following our chat over lunch about my daughter's possible waining interest in meets), and having set my calendar out, it seems I'm sans child on the first Sunday of the month for the remainder of this year. I don't think I've had that before

Yet again many thanks to those that turned out today :D
8 SAAB's over the course of the meet, which was not bad really as it clashed with the Yorkshire SAABs Redbeck meet.

The Yorkshire SAABs meet is back to their usual slot of the 3rd Sunday of the month from July, so it will not clash for next month.

Next Limes meet Sunday 4th July.

I must say, it was quite enjoyable having a convoy going across to Tuxford on the way back. When I turned left at Tuxford, Waze informed me the A1/M18 etc. was 9mins quicker. For 9mins, I think next time I'll keep to the convoy 8)

BTW Mal, your car sounds lovely. Especially with the popping on overrun 8)
