Hey Paul I just E mailed you.
I've got the doors of my Saab at the moment, doing some major remedial work, so I won't make it in the Saab, but I might come down in one of the other cars in the fleet.
We'll see what the restrictions are in early January.

Now that I've got a replacement Aero, I'll be up all being well. I'll be bringing my youngest with me, because it seems she loves to stand around listening to people talking about their cars and looking forward to it

Be great to see all you guys above.......so far the weather is looking good .

For those travelling from the South there is a convoy leaving Wetherby Services at 7.30am PROMPT.......All welcome.

The convoy will stop at Washington Services enroute to the Angel to meet up with cars from the North.

Unfortunately I'm not going to be able to make this one :(

I'm double booked, plus I do not have a SAAB on the road at the moment.

Both 99's require some works before I attempt a round trip of this sort of distance.

Seriously, 0730?? For a 1:15 onward journey? Are we going to be driving for an allowance of at least 10 roadside repairs? Oh so little faith?

What happens between 0845 and 1000hrs? Is that Happy Hour, 2 for 1 etc.?

What time are you leaving Washington? I have a pre-teen daughter tagging along, so wake-up time might not meet the 0530hrs requirements?

(Luckily, breakfast for me is around 1200-1300hrs approx., anyway

Hopefully the weather is decent - and if so - I shall meet folks at Wetherby Services in the old beige 99 - for the trip North.

Happily i have a working demister / cabin fan again - which I'm sure will be needed :)

Cheers
Lee

Is anyone bringing a Tech2 that you're aware of?

Given my car is so new to me, I wouldn't mind a review given a chance?

I won't be making it Paul.
Sorry, something else has come up, anyway my car is currently lacking two doors, that are off for refurbishment.

ps Are you up fro Glamis this year in mid July. (Covid permitting)
I'll be contacting all the people who signed up for the cancelled 2020 Glamis extravaganza, and paid me , to see if they want to be included for this year.
Andy

Another fantastic Angel of the North meet, and a great way to kick off the New Year. It was good to catch up with everyone, and meet some new Saab enthusiasts. Some lovely Saabs in attendance, I believe 44 was the total number at one point. :D
