Well I've just booked one of the Carvans at Haselbury Mill for the evening of the 8th, so it would be rude not to join this tour.
Count mself and my wife in, John.
Can you let me know where exactly you will be starting from on the Saturday morning, so that I can get a hotel booked in the area, for the Friday night.

Andy

Thank You Andy. David (Heli-sabber) and I need to do a few trial runs and work out a 2stroke/V4 friendly route that takes in some of the best bits but avoids long, dull, stretches. When we have a plan of action i will post it here...at the moment it's looking like early January before we have nailed down the permissions, route etc.

I think the chances of me having Dusty back on the road by then are less than nil.

And my other V4 (with the two spare cylinders) won't fit in. :-(

The 6pot is welcome..as long as it's 96 shaped.

Sadly its a bit too long, wide and has two extra doors!

It gives me a target to work to. The 2022 run will be more realistic though. Or maybe 2025. :bag:

Not this time...this is for the V4 and 2stroke but another event is on the back burner until we get an idea how covid pans out.

The way this pandemic is panning out it makes me very sad to say that I cannot see Swedish Day going ahead in May. Too early.....

Looking at it logically, it'll be the day before (Saturday 2nd October). John & I will be planning a suitable [for strokers and V4s] route in due course, once we're "allowed out" again and cafes/pubs are open.

Would like to join this event if still going ahead on 2nd October.
Do you have any details yet regarding starting point as we would be driving down the night before so need to book accommodation for Friday.

Thank you

Wrong topic - hasn't happened yet - should be in the Future Meets area!
