Hi all,
I am looking to replace my headunit in a 9-3 2011 aero, for a double din android unit.

I have been looking at Xtrons, Atoto and Teyes units, all around £200 plus £100 for a new fitting kit from connect2 with steering wheel controls.

The question is which head unit to go for, they all seem to be made in china, and not sure about which have the best after sales support etc, guess buying from Amazon provides a certain amount of protection?

Any advice would be great :-)

I've been mostly happy with my Atoto S8 Ultra.

Fitting was a bit of a bugger as it's slightly bigger than standard double-din (i think it's only the S8 Ultra that has this problem) so I had to hack the cage around to get it to fit.
The after-sales support when I queried the size problem was good too.

The unit itself has worked really well so far and is very fast to boot up and respond to inputs.

I used there parts and it looks like a factory fit now:

JOYING 7 Inch Android 10 Touchscreen Universal Double Din Android Auto DSP WIFI
Mazda Amplified Bose Car Stereo Steering Wheel Passthrough Bypass Interface Lead
USB DAB+ Digital Radio Tuner Dongle Stick for XTRONS Android 9.0/8.1 Car Stereo
Connects2 Saab 93 08 on Double Din Fitting Kit with Stalk Steering Adaptor

It all works really well together you get wireless iphone and wired android auto with it if you want that functionality too and the steering wheel controls are retained

You could push it to around an 8" unit but any larger will impinge the cup holder, I'll post a photo what I have the rights to do that.
