I have tracked down a current drain on my 9000 to Fuse 19 which feeds the underseat amp and power antennae.

On disconnect the amp the drain stops. What is the normal failure with the amp, is it the radio telling it to be on when it shouldn's be, or is the amp drawing power of it's own accord?

Also as an aside, are the inputs in to the amp high level, or un amplified?

It's a Clarion unit.

The underseat amp has a 'on-trigger' from the headunit - this is usually the small blue wire out of the headunit.
Probably best to have a look at the connectors, see if someone has wired the amp exciter to a permanent live instead of the headunit.

The feed into the amp is unamplified via the 10-pin pink ISO plug..
