Thanks to Mark411 for the heads up....this has just been posted on piston heads.
Will update when I hear further news

Last year, we were able to get the RAF Marham track day weekends back on the calendar, with great success and much to the pleasure of all who came. After a bit of toing and froing to negotiate dates and fit around the other things that go on at Marham, have now got the dates confirmed for the next Track Day weekend at RAF Marham of 28 and 29 May 2016.

The weekend will follow the usual popular format, with an open pit lane, a track layout with challenges and something for everyone, a great friendly atmosphere, and the hallmark of being excellent value for money while raising money for RAF and local charities.

I expect that the website will be up and running to take bookings soon, and the team will post here when it is. While we hope to be able to run another one later in the year, this one is confirmed and I hope you can make it - please spread the word, and I look forward to seeing you all again soon in May.

Oh, and one final thing, as it is RAF Marham's 100th anniversary this year, we are aiming to reflect that in various ways!

Provided we survive Donington unscathed I could well be up for this...might even have 6th gear back by then, too!

Looks like I am going to miss one of my favourite venues due to work commitments. Had I managed to get the weekend off, I was going repeat a previous track weekend by doing Bedford on the Saturday and Marham on Sunday.

I will be heading south sometime in May or June I will post details of Venue once I have booked something...

Booked up today, only got to rebuild a gearbox, reburb brakes, fit a new rear axle, repipe the lot, plus normal upkeep but all's in hand

I haven't even fired up the C900 for over a year. I probably ought to take it up the test track and blow out the cobwebs some time...

It does sound good, doesn't it?
Goes quite well too, but...a heavy old barge on a track, and I suspect would eat tyres like no tomorrow.

Mine you, no issues about run-off areas, plenty of space...Hmmm!

We are going. Just for the Saturday though as have a wedding to attend on the bank hol Monday. We are gonna leave home early doors and take an easy drive there & back.
