Open pitlane at Oulton Friday. First time at Oulton looking forward to it, the weather forecast is changing by the hour hopefully it will be dry.

Videos I would like to say yes but if as I suspect they say no to suction mounts then sadly no videos. I have not had the time to sort out anything else. Never a problem up here at Knockhill....

As always the car has 1 or 2 niggly faults but should not efect the day.

Car washed and packed heading down tomorrow.

Looks like it should be dry til mid afternoon by my weather apps . Around 3 will be fine by me as that's when I start getting tired and pushing my luck

Car drove down fine staying 30 mins from circuit, just relaxing with a meal and pint.
Think I am hooking up with phil and his mate in the morning.

Well it was eventful as usual!

Made it back to London OK. Traffic and weather were rubbish.

Shame we were pretty much rained off after lunch at Oulton but I loved the morning sessions and only 35 cars there of which several were dragged back including a rolled Clio.

Car felt great but I had a couple issues:
1) Pin hole in radiator hose - cut and re-joined. Will buy a new hose...
2) All 4 of my manifold to turbo bolts came loose...

Was shocked and amazed that my new brake ducts actually stayed on for the duration!

Overall a good day dampened only by the rain in the afternoon.

Mark who had been out in both Saabs as a passenger said Phils car was much gripping better than mine, a passenger ride with Phil confirmed this. I sort of knew it would be as my last set of track tyres were Dunlop Direzza's they really are better than the yoko's A048's I currently use. It also highlighted his car was spooling quicker than mine hmmmmmm tubular......

Couple of minor issues car wise, I developed a blow at Turbo gasket and the downpipe was still fouling the front cross member under braking it made for an unpleasant vibration.

Other than that the car was fine, some more lightening before next track day starting with the heavy aero front seats coming out and some proper lightweight bucket seats going in. I picked one up on the way home a sparco circuit vtr it's a snug fit to say the least, may have to grind down my hip bones .

Track day anyone?

Nice to see some footage from behind and looks a lot more composed at the back end now . Love a good flame out the back too
