Not being rude but the trophy idea was just a bit of fun really, it's just going to be a good laugh and if people want some friendly competition that's fine the banter is always great, but to be honest the day is just about seeing the efforts of your own hard work, not really a competition :)

Look forward to meeting you all and stand by my word I will buy the best diesel a pint can't say fairer than that :)

Indeed Ben, my comment earlier in the thread was intended to be tongue in cheek. It's very good of you to go to this effort of organising the event and making it competitive by providing trophies/buying pints.

I still don't want the trophy though... :P

Anyone coming across from the East, A14, M6 that want to hook up for a convoy?

Please cross post to the Saab guys.

I know your all so much looking forward to meeting me and me all of you but I suffer from a crushed spine and slipped a disc on Tuesday
now it's almost in but I can't do a 260 miles round trip if it's not 100%
So I might miss it.
at least you have enough for second discount and I'm not worried about deposit either so if I'm not there I'm sorry was looking forward to seeing all yr cars on dino and a cheet chat with a pint
so have fun without me I know it will be hard but I'll be there in spirit
or in person but wnot know till 5am saterday
and may I say
R.I.P Mr Saab

Well said....perfectly understandable I have recently gained two broken toes down to taking on a dyson so not all is going to be fun for me, through that drive with your issues would be painful, thanks for your generosity, please let us no in the morning if your attending or not so I can let the organizers no.

Get you a pint either way...

Should be a nice drive, your car completely standard? What figure do you expect?
