I organized one just over 6 months ago at dynodaze but wasn't impressed with the place, where are you thinking?

I won't run my car with the current engine as a run last month showed it's past it's best but would come down and watch :)

Where in Leicestershire are you based I am in fleckney.

Cheers,

Ben

was thinking of Dynodaze, but, if you say you wasn't impressed, may have to think again

i live in Barwell, near Hinckley

i was looking at getting my new (to me) Saab dyno'd, then taking it to see The Magician (Karl), then having another run on the dyno

if you don't mind me asking, what wasn't you impressed with?

no, i don't work for them, or have anything to do with them, they were recommended by a neighbour with an MG

A lot of uks members that came and ran where not impressed with results, I even made it so 'Karl noobtune' ran twice and still poor results, he thought all Cars where down 20% mine did what was expected.... went a month ago an they have a screen which tells you what the car has made, mine showed 238bhp and a top speed of 128 and on the print out which took time came out as 234bhp and 124mph.....only a few short but I was stood with 14 people that saw it so I won't be running there again.......I recommend the cross keys mate really good pub :).....use to go barwell a lot!

It wasn't just us either, there was a VXR there that had spent mucho moolar on his car (and it sounded like it too) and he made IIRC about 5 hp more than stock. Apparently we'd all got misfires.
And that included the completely untouched AMG Merc that made 50hp less than book as well.

Not impressed.

Ah right you should have said before, looked it up on the net a week ago and seemed good, so you won't have a problem with rolling then if one is organized??

U won't get mine rolled like that , I've spoken to Gordon when I'm ready I'll need the rollers for some time especially as we don't know how the cams will behave or what's to be had from them , certainly not at a shoot out ,it would hardly be fair

Gordon normally would organise some kind of trophy for the top rollers not a pay out

Once it's all it ironed out id be happy to share my figures

I may do a base run before Karl's developes the map further then I would prob hire them for a couple of hours

I will Probabaly be organising one for the SOC at some point and will prob be in the driver and on the web site when I do
