Having a spin at Bobbies and hitting the tyres, and half a lap later having a drivetrain failure at the Forge action day. Only completing 3 sessions of the 5 booked, I was pleasantly surprised to find on investigation it was a clutch failure.
Way hay, simples.
New viggen clutch and lightened flywheel fitted, and all ready for the Halloween action day.

Hope to see some fellow Saabers there.

Sounds like you got lucky there, much better than a gearbox failure.

Are you doing anything to the car to try to reduce spins, or are are we mostly looking to perfect the piloting here?

Might be able to spectate at this.

Do you know if it is possible to be a spectator at this action day, has the virus madness declined enough to allow normal attendance at outdoor events like this?

Yeah it usually £20 plus postage up front or £25 on the day for adults, under 17s are free entry.

Definately lucky !

Trying to perfect the piloting, but even after over 15 years on track, still not got it :park:

Would be good to have some extra Saabists along.
I miss the track days when we had a good number of Saabs on track.Feel lonely sometimes :(

Poppy certainly seems keen, and YES you need to get out there next year. (perhaps in my old C900 track car :P )

Yeah seems to organised there now, all the stands nicely laid out and shiny cars, we need to bring back the UKS stand chaos for 2022
Will have to see if we can find some old friends to get back out to play again.

track carwise, yeah need to have a chat about that.

slow day in work so been looking at the Combe website, They do all the club booking online on their site now.

Club stands require a minimum of 4 Cars, "Club stand" = cheaper entry to event and discounted track passes, surely we could muster up that in 2022 :corn:
