I posted in my cars but also thought I would post here.

Just gone with maptun for a stage 1 tune with the help of NeoBrothers.

Super easy to do took me all of 5 mins. Plug in and download stage 1.

Done around 200 miles so far on stage 1. Few misfires picked up on cylinder 6, no EML light yet. I couldn’t feel the misfires but checked at the end of my drive and it showed them.
I haven’t upgraded anything else yet. Got new plugs ready to go at next service and will get some coil packs as well.

Did some pulls 45-75mph in 3rd gear before upgrade timed at 6.2 seconds

Same road similar conditions and after stage 1 timed at 4.9 seconds.
Standard

Yes very impressive.

Was your V6 standard before the Maptun stage 1 or did it have the Hirsch upgrade?
I've currently got the Hirsch upgrade (previous owner who had the car from new upgraded at point of sale) and just can't decide whether to do a stage 1 (Maptun or Nordic) or just leave it as it is. I do quite like the thought of leaving it 'genuine' but have heard the drive is improved quite considerably.

Pretty sure mine was standard. It came with no service history but the jump up has been big so I suspect it was standard.

I haven’t done anything else to it yet. Not even changed plugs or coils yet. Picking up a bit of a misfire on 6 so will get them all done soon.

It’s made a difference lower down. Just pottering around it feels more urgent then when turbo kicks it pulls hard.

From what I have read on here not as big a jump in performance from Hirsch to Maptun so you may be disappointed. Not sure if there is a way you can test to see if you like it. You could try calling Neo brothers and ask. Might need you to drive to them though, put map on if you don’t like it leave it off. Don’t know if you then need to have hirsch uploaded again or not or find someone nearby who has maptun and drive there’s to compare.

Tough one.
