Hi guys

Pressed electric roof down switch
All well until, with the metal hood cover in the up position ready to close display reads ‘manual operation only!
Did not want to force hood cover down so the Wife and I slowly lifted hood up manually and the hood closed perfectly electrically from there. Tried same process again, same result, locked with metal hood cover in up position, hood in lowered position

While I could see all the hinges and electrics all seemed very clean, no rust and all in clean order with no obvious faults. Rams seemed dry.

I did notice that the operation was a little slower than normal, maybe fluid low or needs changing!

Perhaps members could point me in the right direction, videos on accessing the pump or posts on this? Would be very grateful, before I start investigating.

I have found some videos on YouTube, but they don’t seem to cover a 2009?

Some say the reservoir is accessed from the boot, others from inside rear with the back seat cushion down?


Mines a 2009 Aero diesel convertible.
