Hi folks,
Long time, no posts! Due to a combination of lots of commuting, silly fuel prices and some likely incoming repair bills, it's regretfully time for my Saabness to come to an end, for the time being at least - we are becoming a one car household

Cutting to the chase, she's either off to be recycled into something far kinder to the environment, or she'll make a nice light summer project for somebody. We've got a front offside suspension rattle (comes over as a light rattle as opposed to a knocking or clonking), front brakes need replacing, the key needs a refurb and the MOT is due in July, which is unlikely to be a cheap day out. The national scrap chains are offering c.£500, and as much as I hate to see any half-alive car biting the dust, the lack of money in folks' pockets (mine included!) are making me doubtful of the value of going down the repair and sell it on route. A banger isn't such a bargain when the tax is north of £500 and the fuel bill looks like it came from an intercity train! But, in case of any glimmers of hope, I though it's worth an ad here all the same. It'd need to be £500 as that's where WBAC are, so it may or may not be a tantalising prospect.
LS07 VWX - Vector 2.0t auto convertible in dark blue. 115k on the clock, grey leather interior in pretty good nick. Power heated seats (passenger seat is manual adjustment), power mirrors, roof all working fine, driver side window needs a grease and the one-touch resetting. One key (actually one whole key, and one blade with no fob!) in need of refurbing- starts the car fine but the only way in is via the passenger door lock. Central locking works fine via the button on the driver's door once you're in!
Minor scuff on F/N/S corner, tidy all round, no visible rot. MOT July 2nd. Four decent Pirelli Pzero tyres, currently in use as a daily. Taxed and ready to drive home. Looking to shift it by the end of the week, so any interest drop me a line!
Cheers all,
Glen
