Forum rules

The main Meetings forum is designed for meetings with a firm date and location in mind, and this info should be contained in the thread title.

If you want to gauge interest or ask a more general question, please use the "Provisional/gauging interest" forum.

Once meetings have taken place, threads will be moved to the "past meets" forum rather than the Coffee Bar.

Stickies can be arranged for regular, established, meets with a set calendar of upcoming dates- please pm a mod to discuss.

No drumming up of additional interest by cross posting in other sections please, unless by prior moderator approval

For more info/guidance, please see this post from the forum founder.

2 weeks left to get your tickets, entries closing date is 21st May.
Weather your car is concourse or a daily driver. We welcome you all. With close to 100 cars already confirmed, it's guaranteed to be our biggest event yet. Combined with over 100 aircraft, gift shop and small café, we add trade stands, a commissioned vehicle artist and our charity auction in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support too, there is plenty to see and do. Family and dog friendly with well behaved owners. We even have places for people to meet on route, for that all important coffee and a chance to drive to the venue with fellow Saab owners check out the posts on https://fb.me/e/4trnF2XdU where you can also find the ticket link. So come along and enjoy a cheap day out with like minded enthusiasts. We look forward to seeing you all.

Tickets can be booked here, but you only have a little under one week left to book. https://saabsunitedgb.wixsite.com/websi ... h8hwvjQqXg

I'm organising a convoy for anyone in the Hull/Nth/NE Lincs/Lincoln area.

Link to my convoy, otherwise the details are below.

I’ve sussed the route timings and listed them below for anyone wanting to join a convoy on the most direct route from our region. I’ve based these times on an allowance for the usual unpredictable traffic and tractors in our region, and chosen suitable meeting points en route with some space for an unknown number of cars for the few minutes we’ll be there.
Convoy Meeting Timings (approximate) at suitable locations en route:
• Bridgehead Business Park (Eastbound side), Meadow Rd, Hessle HU13 0DG – 08:45
• Barnetby Top Services, M180, Brigg DN20 0PA – 09:00
• M180/A15 Starkeys Café @ J4, 9LZ, A15, Broughton, Brigg DN20 9LZ – 09:15
(not a great deal of space, but I’m sure we’ll suss it out on the day if numbers are high? If we run out of space for this rendezvous, head south on the A15 to a parking layby and we’ll pick you up on the way  , I promise we'll slow down.)
• A15 Caenby Corner Transport Cafe, Caenby Corner, Market Rasen LN8 2AR – 09:30
• Thorpe on the Hill Services, Middle Ln, Lincoln LN6 9AJ – 09:55
• Newark Air Museum – 10:10

Unfortunately despite it being on my doorstep I'm unable to make this one.
We are in Cornwall for the week, booked last year.

That's a shame. At least it's an enjoyable reason, rather than having to work.
