Hi all,
I have been contacted by an Owners Club member that is looking for their old 96. Please PM me or reply if you know anything!
Their message:
I have been trying to locate my original Saab 96, which I was given for my 21st birthday in Jan 1971. I have now pretty much given up finding this car, mainly due to the stonewalling of the DVLA. I first contacted them in 1998, when the Saab was still registered with the DVLA. They of course would not give me any information, except to say that it was still registered. I offered to send my details, plus photos, which they could forward to the current keeper. This they refused to do. I enclose details of the car, in the slim hope that any members have seen it rotting in a barn!!
