Good luck you folk!
Over the years, this is the best Saab site and many things I've learned have come as a result of using it.
All the best,

We've just upgraded our phpBB VW T25 forum to the latest version (with a few mods)
Good luck !
Our php was well out of date and yes we changed providers at the same time too!

But we did incorporate a Like button as well, again (somewhat controversially)... :)

But our best mod was to integrate iMgur hosting directly into the Post Window, faairly seamless now, and a bit clever of 'our man' we thought...

Oooh, which one? We have a T25* resto

(*not sure it still counts as a whole T25)

Hopefully the new software will perform as well as the old one, not too many complaints from me on that apart from a slightly dubious search facility (and I suppose the image uploads). Sorry I didn't spot this in time to volunteer my services too.

Oh... how does that work? You have an Imgur account and while posting you just paste your photo into the post edit box and it uploads it to Imgur and embeds it into the post?
If that's the case then it would be a huge step towards bridging the gap between the forum and Faceboll*cks. People are lazy and can't be bothered if there's something easier available.
It presumably also manages to do it all without having to store photos on the forum server and the storage and bandwidth load it entails, unlike other similar solutions I've seen for PHPBB.
