So very disappointed it was aborted. We were watching the build up from T minus 1hr 30mins.

Looking forward to Saturday now. Launch time 8.22pm BST?

Yes we were watching it too, and getting pretty excited. Was looking forward to trying to see it in the sky half an hour later too.

Bit cloudy here anyway. Heard it was postponed.

I was also watching live on NASA site and eagerly awaiting it passing overhead about 20mins late, we had clear skies as well.

Got to see the ISS last night .

I did read that Starlink was visible on Saturday as well but just checked and its really early hours. You would be so far into drinking boots by that point be extremely hard to focus never mind standing starring at the sky without falling over.

For those night owls who are holier than though - this is for Portsmouth

2:26 am, 30 May 2020
Starlink-6,7 NEW, BRIGHT (2.8) for 3 mins
Look from SOUTH (176°) to EAST (78°)
Elevation (from horizon): start: 39°, max: 42°, end: 10°

Good show from Space X and NASA earlier.

Launch went without a hitch.
Now I just need to win the lottery to be able to go too.

Excellent launch. Those speeds are absolutely phenomenal. 8) What a sight to see again. We're still watching the feed now. Although it would be good to hear/see more from Doug and Bob in the capsule, rather than just seeing the guys in front of their computers at mission control

Wow!!!! Just watched Bob & Doug fly over. That was one hell of a sight. Just seeing that was so amazing. I videoed it too, for prosperity. 8)

Could not get high enough to see the horizon here, too many trees in the way and we are halfway down a hill, so missed the ISS and the Dragon twice. I thought the most incredible thing was the Falcon landing back in the Droneship in mid ocean.

One of the above posts contains a glaring error.

I am guessing that autocorrect turned posterity into prosperity?

I think everyone go the meaning though so not exactly a serious error!

On the feed I was watching it was all good, all good, then the ship video lost connection. 5 seconds later it came back and suddenly there the rocket was, on deck, spot on the middle, no engines cooling down emitting anything. Seemed all very strange TBH!

Yes, I was watching on the NASA channel and it did that. Are you suggesting there might be a little film editing?

No its not OK, comment now removed.
It was not spotted or reported previously and its the first time I have ventured into this thread and I've just spotted it and removed it.
Why didn't you bring it to our attention by reporting it?

BoT....

Crew Dragon Endeavour has successfully docked with ISS. 8)

What an accomplishment for a private company (albeit nothing really that new to them, given their previous restocking missions?). This is surely a new chapter for humanity, and a chapter I will continue to follow in awe of the achievements made already.

I have no idea what you are talking about or what the comment was. I must have skim read something and missed it.

An unacceptable comment was made earlier, which has now been removed by a member of the Mod/Admin team. I can only assume mossy is referring to this missing comment?

As for my earlier post, (I am guessing that autocorrect turned posterity into prosperity?), yes, auto :cen: got it wrong :wall:
