So waited 5 months on one shock.
Front left. This was down to manufacturing delays with Bilstein. No fault or Neos. They even tried to source it from other suppliers.

Everything on the list above has now been fitted.
Along with front Anti roll bar links.
Rear bump stops and seats.
Rear top mounts.
Some front bushes.
Alternator.

Also different alloys.
I had opted for the bugger aero discs. And the double Y alloys no longer fitted.
So have aero twin 5 spoke now.

Booked in for 2 new back boxes on Tuesday. One snapped off 2 weeks ago :-PImage

So with the B6 fitted, and the other suspension work done. The car feels so, so much better.
Car is obviously firmer running the Bilsteins. But road holding and cornering is much improved. This is coupled with new standard Aero springs.

Just picked the car up.
2 new back boxes fitted, to go with the centre section and Y split that was fitted several months back.
£400 for the pair. Could likely have gotten it cheaper else where. But I know it's quality work from these guys.

Currently sat waiting for a recovery truck.
Down in Newbury visiting the wife’s parents, just started to head home. And temp shoots up, and stop immediately warning light comes up.
Do so. Engine right off and have a gander under the bonnet. Looked like the timing belt has been trying to chew it’s way through the belt cover.
Phone central Saab, and given a diagnosis of dead water pump and now timing belt as well do not drive!

This is going to be a slow, tedious trip back to Scotland.

Obviously one of those days. Travelling up the A24 on my way to Joe's Saab hospital when I became aware of a rattling scraping sound behind me accompanied by a somewhat rorty engine sound. Stopped and looked behind to find the back box detached and hanging on by one of the rubber hangers having been scraped along the road surface. Bit of a wrestle to get detached. So that's another job for Joe.

Cheers.

We got a Hire car from the aa, because of the time and distance involved.
So we stayed over might near Birmingham no drive up this morning.

Car has literally just been dropped off. 11.30pm.
