Saw a silver 9-3ss on the hardshoulder of the M3 southbound today. Highways agency were there, hope it wasn't too serious!

Not steel but 'Granite' or is it Graphite? Mine is one of them but I think there were 3 different shades of grey on the NG, plus the silver, white and jet black options...

At last it's not VAG Grey...

Parked up next to a Dutch 2008 93 1.8T convertible in Lyme Regis on 28/12.
Owner returned, I greeted him, only to realise he knew nothing of the car and wasn't in the least bit interested - even though it had a Hirsch emblem on the boot.

Filthy, cluttered with crisp packets, sweet wrappers and discarded fast food packaging inside and utterly filty on the outside (the car). A sad sight.

Unusual for the dutch - they were into Saabs in fairly big way, NL was a major market after US, Sweden, UK, Germany.

Plus at the end of the day does it really matter, you spotted a NG 9-5 which everyone apart from the pedants would say was ''grey''

What makes you think that?

My comment was that is does not really matter what shade of grey it was, nothing more.

Yeah, I thought I was on to a winner there. Was gutted we hadn't taken ours, but after instigating the conversation, that disappointment waned.

Blue 9-3 being taken off the back of a flatbed and left in the hands of Buckingham and Stanley in Trumpington.
Hope it's not too serious a problem.
