This car was a PX'd into a local Jaguar specialist, being a sucker for cheap SAAB's I purchased it last week. I was looking to use it as a bad weather runner for SAAB meets, therefore saving my 99 for the good weather.
Typically since buying this I have been offered another that's more me, so this one is being moved on.

The car;

2001 9-3 SE LPT

MOT until 31st July 2019

149,151 miles, stamped up service book (17 stamps mainly SAAB/SAAB Specialist). Last serviced at the end of 2017 at 139,896 miles so overdue for its next service.

It starts, drives and stops, gearbox is sound and it goes pretty well, I think its been played with as it really picks up its skirts when needed.

SID is kaput, drivers side electric mirror is not working and the central locking only works on the key (2keys).

On the plus side it has parking sensors that work and the aircon is also working.

Tyres have plenty of tread left, but I suspect it will need at least one tyre fairly soon as there is some cracking on the edge of one of the rear ones.

This car is not concours by any stretch of the imagination, the interior is tidy enough but not pristine.

Bodywork is far from perfect, the paint on the rear arches had bubbled quite a bit (not yet holed/perforated).
I have rubbed them down and applied Kurust but that's as far as I have got. My intention was to paint with silver hammerite and then stick some black wheel arch liners on (it was only going to be a bad weather runner, not a show car).

Car is located in Nettleham near Lincoln and will need collecting from here.
Its currently taxed and insured, but I will be sticking it on SORN and shifting the insurance over to its replacement on the 25th May.

I'm asking £350 now £300, I'm not accepting any offers on the new asking price.
If it does not sell by the 25th I will break it and should easily recover what it owes me.

Please do not ask for parts before the 25th as it is only being sold as a whole car before that date. On that date if the car has not sold I will create a new ad in Parts for Sale. I will be ignoring any parts requests before that date.

The locking wheel nut key is present and in good order.

It also has the full owners pack & handbook and I also have the V5.

I really need this one gone but I'm not willing to lose too much on it.
If I have no choice I'll break it, but I'd rather save my time and let it go as a whole car.

I know I can get £100 for it scrap (collected), with that and removing a few more parts it will easily return what it owes me.
But I'd rather sell it as a whole car than have to respond to messages and pm's from those who want me to spend 2+hours removing a part, but only want to give a couple of pounds for the part and also expect it posted for free.

So taking a small loss to save me from that hassle I'll let it go for £300 if I receive a deposit before the 25th.

Along with ignoring messages for parts as mentioned in the first post (despite which I still received some :wall: ), I will be ignoring messages offering less than £300 as a whole.

Absolutely zero interest either here or gumtree etc...

Therefore I may as well look to start breaking it now, therefore this thread is being locked and I will start a new thread in parts for sale.
