Unfortunately for sale as work dictates I need a couple of 4x4s.

This 9-5 is listed in Your Cars as O'Callen's 9-5 Journey, where does it end.

4 pages of detailed work done and still driving very well. Mileage is just under 130,000 miles.

Mot till July 2019.

Only item mentioned in the cars history that I'm keeping is the TomTom unit. Everything else stays.

Based in Blandford Forum in Dorset

Any interest in a V6 Freelander (not sure if you would class that as a 4x4) but thought I'd ask.

Car looks really nice by the way.

Regards

(edit for typo)

Sorry Gadgetgricey, only just seen your message. Not of interest.

No interest in the Saab, not surprised and certainly not disappointed. Drove 60 miles or so on great almost deserted roads today in it, lovely car. Thinking of other upgrades to do. Not really the actions of someone keen to sell.

I've been contacted by people on here about the car.

I don't have any more photos. In the nearly three years I've owned the car if I've taken photos I've posted them in my "Your Cars" journal on this site. I don't know what else I could have taken photos of.

Also in those posts are all the details about the car. Please read them and take them on board. Don't turn up to see/buy/collect the car and say " I didn't know about that" because everything has been described.

My asking price is the final price. It owes me far more than that figure. I'm not in need of the money, just the space. I will be insulted if someone comes along knowing the above and starts to haggle and the conversation will go no further.

It is a 20 year old car, it has no body rust, it drives well but it is not perfect. It is a Modern Classic that will need jobs doing from time to time if it's used.

Finally, if someone wants to buy this very genuine car at this price of £795 please call me on 0778 686 6099 (Blandford Forum in Dorset).

I've swapped the Blaupunkt Toronto over for a little used Blaupunkt Valencia radio cd which doesn't have Bluetooth. All the HK speakers are still in place. Have not taken anything else off.

Surely it represents a bargain, doesn't it.

Hi Allen, just to recap, can you confirm the following has been done and is up to date please......(minus the stereo swap which you've mentioned)

Sump dropped and cleaned.
Blue silicone vacuum hoses.
Revised oil pipes.
Carbon fibre detailing in engine bay.
Aero turbocharger fitted.
Aero front and rear anti roll bars with Powerflex bushes.
Heavy duty front drop links.
Eibach Pro lowered springs.
17" 9-3 alloys fitted with increased offset and 225/45Rainsport3 tyres.
Remus twin pipe stainless back box.
Aero full leather interior.
Retrimmed carpet mats.
Bespoke leather and alcantara steering wheel.
Bespoke burr walnut finish to internal handles, ashtrays, dashboard top.
Blaupunkt Bluetooth radio cd and 11 Harmon Kardon surround sound speakers.
Wire mesh radiator grille.
Aero front lower lip spoiler.
Saab mud flaps all round.

Also did you get round to having the stage 1 remap for the new TD04 turbo or is it still running a gt17 stage 1 map on the TD04 turbo. Is the private plate still on the car too?

Many Thanks.

Please don't PM me as for some reason I'm being told I'm not authorised to respond.

I had the Turbo fitted by my local guy and then Martin sorted the vacuum hoses around and that's it.

All the items filathome mentions have been done with invoices to confirm.

No further tuning done. Cherished plate stays on the car.

I've still got it advertised on Pistonheads and eBay at £795. I'm getting some interest in would I sell the cherished number for £70 , some interest from Scotland and other far flung places. Would I take it to London to a guy who's really interested and has the cash and a more local one who wanted me to take the car to him but I've heard no more since I told him there's a bus service every hour to me taking 30 mins. Plus all the texts to say they are serious buyers, what's the least I will take. To be honest, getting a bit frustrated. It's a cheap car, I've spent a lot more than I'm asking and it's completely reliable to drive.

Hi filathome, I received your text messages to say you wanted the car but after saying you were just getting on a short air flight I've heard no more from you. Obviously being a UKSaaber I put you as a priority buyer and all the "time wasters etc." I had making promises and part exchanges at this price from eBay and Pistonheads I've been saying I've promised it to a friend.

Not having heard anymore I'm concerned something terrible has happened so hope the flight isn't going into the records as another disappearance.

Hi Allen,

I have not dissappeared, I am quite well and in fine fettle. I have not contacted you via call, text, carrier pigeon, smoke signal or Dm my friend. I fear you may be confusing me with someone else. I, for the record think this car is an absolute bargain and if I needed it I would snatch your hand off. Best of luck with the sale.

Phil

My apologies. My name isn't Allen, it's Nick, but I received text messages whilst I was on the move addressing me as Allen and something said it was you as you'd addressed me as Allen here. Looking back I see the person sending me texts was a guy named Tom.

Advertised on here for four weeks and eBay and Pistonheads but nobody has been to even look at it. On Tuesday I have a booking at my local audio shop for a job on the Jeep. I'll take the Saab in instead and get the Blaupunkt Toronto Bluetooth reinstalled and cancel the adverts.

I'll continue to use it split with the Jeep as a daily driver. Tuesday morning will be the last time available at this price of £595.
