A pair of V-22 Ospreys just went over (very loudly, rotors up), presumably having visited our friendly local AAC base.

Can't the Septics just get a taxi like anyone else?

They hang around Stanta Battle Area / Lakenheath / Mildenhall often too.

If I recall correctly, there are a bunch of V-22 Ospreys based at RAF Mildenhall; I saw a couple of them when I last went.

Had them over the Sennybridge training area last year. Idiots set fire to it when we had the long dry spell last year, as they spent a while hovering over dry scrub.

Active until about 2230 yesterday. Very spooky at night with the rotor-tip lights on... all rather Avatar-ish.

I've seen a few around that area as well, also had one fly into Waddington a few months ago.
