SSK has changed its membership handling system to one run by membit.net. I received a letter in mid-2018 with new login details - so far, so good. I can log in & get an English language page. However, it appears that payment can only be made via a [Swedish] Giro account; no BIC/Swift or IBAN account details given. Anyone else had this issue &/or has it been resolved? I have the 2018 codes but I'm not sure if they're still valid.
I've contacted the Treasurer & am awaiting a response.

I,m in the same boat received the letter in mid 2018 with new login details.

The restriction of using PayPal was a deal breaker for me.......unless a bank transfer can be done without incurring significant bank charges???

Look forward to hearing how you get on

Just wonder if there might be much point. Did they take over Saabsunited? SU seems to have disappeared now so you just wonder...

Guys
If they can give you an IBAN number, use Transferwise to send money overseas, it literally costs a few euros.
I've used it a lot, works very well.

On the membership story, I also got that letter, but then promptly lost it.
I E mailed the secretary in November, and was told I'd be contacted in December.
I wasn't, so this is a nice reminder to follow up.

Update- I just E mailed the secretary, he responded within 10 minutes with my renewal details, which has an option to pay by PayPal!!
That's service!
Money now sent and confirmed.

Not sure what's going on for you guys.....

E mail a guy called Karl at info@saabklubben.se

Similar experience to Andy - no SSK membership renewal letter (that I recall), emailed Karl, got a quick reply and paid via PayPal. Simples !

I'd be happy to act as a 'middleman' for parts orders if you're stuck (though delivery costs to the Highlands can be more expensive than the rest of the UK).

Gott Nytt År

Hi Redsaabs
The invoice that Karl sent me (not sure if it was a copy of the 'original' or freshly created) offered payment either via PayPal (to paypal@saabklubben.se) or direct to the SSK's IBAN account.

Good luck !

I too have had a response from Karl - he says to use PayPal - not sure why the letter said that it's no longer an option.
