I've stripped my 1972 4dr 99 and it is gruesome in the belly pan, towers, tunnels, crossmember etc.

I was wondering if anyone in the North east or nearby has a scrap 99 or 90 sitting that I could come and dissect these parts from?
I have a van and trailer and I'd be prepared to take a whole shell to get it out from under your feet!
Thanks.
Ian

I have one and I'm North-East... of London!!

Seriously though, if you can be bothered to make the trip to Suffolk you are welcome to it. It's a rolling shell, no engine or interior and I've cut the rear valance off but from memory front end is excellent (I'll have a good look later)

Bring a double trailer and Speyside Retro has its first customer in my Fiat Coriasco...?

Peter

Peter, thank you! I would be very surprised if I get a better offer than that!
I've just googled it and it's 20hrs on the road, but 20 hrs spent in the shed wouldn't make all the panels that your shell would yield, and if it turns out you've just lured me there to pick up the Fiat instead then I'm sure we could work with that too!

say, give it a week and if nothing else turns up we could make plans?
I could nearly hook up the trailer and see you tomorrow morning....
I really wouldn't feel so bad cutting it up knowing it's already been cut!

Hello Ian,

Needless to say you are welcome to stay overnight and sample the local beers before returning north...

Let's talk next year (!) and see if we can make this work

PS, a certain TFatC has some front seats with my name on them... not too far from you I believe?

P

Thank you very much!
I think Amanda stayed near Southwold at one point so it could be a great wee trip for her too..
I'll leave the bed in the T4 so we can sleep off any local beer.. If you happen to get any photos of the 99 anytime you're in the barn I'd be very grateful :-)

Just seen this as I am in France!

I have a rot free 1971 shell with log book and a rotten 99T - both 2 doors

Back home at the end of the month

Thanks Nick! I really don't think I could live with myself cutting up a good 1971 shell :-)
Is there anything left of the Turbo these days?
