 Post subject: Android head unit help

Hi guys recently purchased an xtrons head unit for my 08 93 wagon, also ordered the connects 2 kit, no I have wired everything in as I was supposed to but I have no sound, the unit powers on and works fine even the steering controls but just no sound has anyone had any experience with this before?

Can't help sorry, but what unit did you get? A few on here are looking at these so any feedback would be good.

I got the ts702l seems like a good bit of kit just can't for the life of me get the sound working

Do you have the Bose system, or other factory amp?

It needs a signal to turn on which isnt automatically provided by the connects2 kit IIRC.

No bose system but does have the amp, how do I go about powering the amp?

Need the pinout for the stereo (on my satnav unit it was on the back) and make sure the radio amp trigger from the aftermarket unit is connected correctly.

If there isnt a specific amp trigger on the oem unit then im not sure where to go after that. If its the aftermarket unit then finding some other switched live and power the stereo all the time.

Sorry guys not been active much, finally sorted my problem I had to wire the 2 blue amp control wires into the red ignition live wire on the connects 2 kit
