So before I start I must say a huge thank you to my good friend Karl, aka noobtone, so to set the scene Karl had taken a full day off work to spend with me at Street Racers to live map e4 with some what only can be described as nothing less than mind blowing, all three of us worked together to make the dream into reality closely monitoring fuelling and boost and making some repetitive pulls on the Dyno and with each pull upping the rpm and fueling.

I must say that it was quite obvious that I was feeling anxious the whole time with every pull making progress every run. Karl and I go back a long time and we both love to dabble in the tuning scene and enjoy a good social scene too, nothing holds us back.. well only me lol slightly...

As a little teaser on one of our many e4 pulls it was making 630nm at 4800rpm with plenty still in the bank, when I say insane I really do mean it, driving e4 literally is feels like time travel 8)

Karl’s a great tuner and a great friend of mine and my figures are a real testament to the man, thanks bud beers are on me

More to follow on my build thread...

Ade

You're welcome bud, it's nice to see all your hard work come to fruition.

(i still reckon there's another 30hp to come out of it though)

But does it need a gearbox for each wheel, just to spread the torque around a bit? ;)

Karl apsulutley buzzing still bud, defo go back for another go when it’s much more cooler and still have another trick up my sleeve too  thinking about what we have left I’m tempted that we should throw everything at it, amazing results and meticulous mapping payed off, now where can a couple of lads go to have as much fun on a set of rollers as us for a day 8)

I’ve been privy to this build since the very beginning pretty much every step of the way!

It’s been a privilege to watch this car come from standard to what it has become today, incredible work, dedication, research, blood, sweat, tears and love all born out of a genuine tragedy that sadly should never have happened.

If ever proof was needed that from adversity good things can happen then E4 is consummately testament to that.

What an incredible achievement and what an incredible show of courage and conviction.

No doubt there will be a small handful of Lemon Sucking Saabista happy to question, ridicule, mock and scheme E4’s downfall - but this monster is an absolute home win and long may it remain so!

Top Work Ade! - Never let the ‘Two Hats’ keep you down!

Keep on Keepin’ on!

Yamas!

Thanks Mike,

quite touching actually and right on all counts, this was all born out of e3 and learning and understanding that for me to take this one to a whole different level what seemed to be something out of reach, I may have already said this before but I genuinely thought I’d made a made a mistake with my calculations having racked my brain for a couple of days.

As you now know I was correct first time.

There’s still a bit more to come with some additional tweaks and upping the boost a little, considering the high ambient temperature this was truly a massive success for us all.

Ade

Well I think there actually is Stu, with a little more boost... definitely, well it is already an epic achievement tbh as you know, I’m just in the process of getting it ready for the show now and tying up loose ends after the session, I must say the plot is nice and smooth with no holes in it, it’s relatively quite compliant until you find the G spot then she’s picked her skirt up and gone !
