Hello All. I am the new proud owner of a 2001 Saab 9-3 Turbo SE which was recently featured on Pistonheads shed of the week:

I purchased it as a project car and for me to get some mechanical know-how, of which I have absolutely zero. The previous owner has tuned it to approx 270hp and its sitting on Koni adjustable shocks, the full mod list can be seen here:

Its been 4 days of ownership and ive already broken it, so expect a post in the 'Workshop and servicing' section very soon. I am looking forward to learning the intricacies of this car and getting to know the Saab community.

Welcome.
I did wonder if this SOTW would make it to the forum when I saw the item.

Looks to be a decent car indeed, always like a red 9-3 coupe.

Cheers, Its currently broken after I drove it up to Scotland last Saturday. I've got a wee thread going on the 'Workshop' section to try and get some advice.

That is the point. SOTW is a car available for under a certain low price point (£1k I think) that is particularly good value because of how good it is.

Oh I see, because last time I looked at SOTW admittedly a few years ago they were sheds and more if a laughing stock.

I remember seeing this on SotW and thinking it looked brilliant value! Lovely looking thing and it must be hilariously fast.
