£2995 at the top, £3995 in the description.

Should the boost needle be there when idling? That’s what mine did the other day when a rat had chewed through one of the BCV tubes (to the intake).

FPT 200 hp auto, but it’s a 2.3 small “t”?

I think there is probably a leak somewhere in the pipework, the boost needle is normally to the left more than that on mine.

I think that badge on the back is not original, either that or when Sven stuck it on at the factory he was on his way home for his meatballs!

I reckon this chap is a part time dealer, chancing his arm on this. It does look like a nice one, but something isn't quite right. Not least the price. :loco:

The '2.3t' badge is not original, looks like it was borrowed from a 9-5. 9k's seem to vary in badges. I have had a 2.0LPT, 2.3LPT and 2.3FPT and none of them have had engine size badges but I have seen others with 2.0 and 2.3 badges, although the originals were positioned on the lower panel below the right hand tail light. It does have a boost gauge and grille 'turbo' badge which indicate an FPT.
Looks nice, not sure if he has changed the ad but the only £3995 is in the words after the figure price at the end of the description so assume that is an error.

That's a T16, not a T16S. Turbo badges appear to be later addition to bonnet edge. Nice overall condition though and a credit to its former owner.

T16 LPT's were originally badged ''900S'' (not to be confused with the earlier 900S which was a 16i with sports handling kit).
The 900S did not as you have stated have Turbo badges on the bonnet.

The full fat T16 was badged ''Turbo S'' IIRC, definitely so with Aero Kit.

Sadly it's barely worth £250 with no MOT and that damage. The odd headlamp washer solution tells me all I need to know about maintenance.

Looks like the headlamp washer broke when it was damaged.
I would have thought it would be worth more in bits than £250.
